I originally purchased this to use as a transport case for my firearms while traveling by plane. Which I have done and it has worked perfectly for that purpose. I also use it at home to secure a couple of other firearms that don't get daily use.

This item is very well constructed, is TSA approved and fits easily into your luggage. It also comes with a cable so that you can securely attach it to the case and to the floor for extra security.

Decent box, good size, finicky lock.

The box is on par with other major makers. It’s enough to discourage spontaneous theft, but obviously not a substitution for a proper safe. The lock is finicky. Not a fan.

I also do not like the printing on the exterior, particularly that it says ‘firearm’ in the verbiage. I feel this encourages curiosity and attention that most users will not want. You can cover it up with stickers or paint I guess.

Good size box, I can fit a Glock 19 with light and 3 mags.

Remove the bottom foam, reveals 4 holes. I mounted it the far back of my filing cabinet. It's fairly secure. If you're more paranoid, you can always put shortened hanging files above it.

Fits my revolver nicely s&w 4 1/4" barrel m69 44 L frame would probably fit a 629 with a 4 inch barrel as well.
